Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LimoScale (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through our website at www.limoscale.com, the LimoScale admin portal and Admin app, the driver app, our booking widgets, the customer portal, the customer mobile app and our integrations.
Two roles. For our own website visitors, prospects and account users, we decide how personal information is used. For the riders and drivers of a transportation company that uses LimoScale, we process their information on that company’s behalf and under its instructions. If you are a rider or a driver, please contact the transportation company you ride or drive with about your information; we will help them respond.
1. Information we collect
From website visitors and prospects
- What you enter in our contact and demo request forms, such as your name, company, email, phone, fleet size, city and message.
- Details about how you reached us that are included in the page link, such as ad campaign parameters (for example, UTM tags or a Google click ID), which our demo form sends along with your request.
- Standard technical information our hosting provider receives when you load a page, such as your IP address and browser type. Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
From our customers’ team members
- Account details such as name, email, role and company. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- Activity records such as sign-ins and changes made in the portal, kept for security and audit purposes.
- For the Admin app: a device push notification token, so we can send your team alerts.
On behalf of transportation companies: riders
- Quote and booking details riders provide, such as name, email, phone, pickup, stop and drop-off addresses, trip dates, flight details, passenger and luggage counts, child seats and messages.
- Customer portal and customer app accounts: name, email, phone, notification choices, and one-time sign-in codes (stored in hashed form and valid for 10 minutes). The app also stores a device push notification token.
- Payment status and references. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and saved cards are held by Stripe in the transportation company’s account; LimoScale does not receive or store full card numbers. We show riders their saved cards’ brand, last four digits and expiry, which we get from Stripe.
- Marketing attribution details, such as the ad campaign or keyword that led to a quote.
On behalf of transportation companies: drivers
- Driver profile details the company enters, such as name, phone, email, driver’s license number and expiry, usual vehicle, notes and a driver app username (the password is stored only in hashed form).
- Trip activity from the driver app: job responses, trip status updates, days off, reported wait time, stops, tolls and parking, and receipt photos.
- Live location while a driver is working a trip, used to show the driver’s position and estimated arrival to the company and to the rider on that trip. Live location is removed when the trip is dropped off or canceled.
- A device push notification token, so the driver can receive job offers.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure and support the Service, including pricing trips, taking bookings and payments, dispatch, trip tracking, and the confirmations, receipts and notifications the Service sends.
- To send information to the integrations a transportation company turns on (see section 3).
- To respond to inquiries and demo requests, and to send service and billing messages.
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to comply with the law.
- To improve the Service. We do not use rider or driver information for our own marketing.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and email delivery), Stripe (payments), Google (address lookup, geocoding and routing, and Google Ads reporting when a company connects its account) and Expo (push notifications).
- Integrations a transportation company turns on, on its instructions: GoHighLevel (the company’s CRM and messaging), and GNET and LimoAnywhere, which receive booked trips, including the passenger’s name, phone and email, trip details, notes and the price paid, so the company can dispatch them in its own LimoAnywhere account and send trip updates back.
- The transportation company a rider books with or a driver works for, which controls that information. Riders on a trip see their driver’s name, vehicle, phone and live location while the trip is under way.
- Legal and safety needs, when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety.
- A successor business, if LimoScale is involved in a merger or sale, subject to this policy.
4. Text messages and emails
Transportation companies may send riders text messages about quotes and trips through their own CRM workflows, and only with the rider’s consent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
LimoScale sends sign-in codes, reservation confirmations and receipts by email on the transportation company’s behalf. Riders can choose which notifications they receive in their account settings.
5. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting and security needs. Specifically:
- Driver live location is removed when the trip is dropped off or canceled.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.
- Integration activity logs are deleted after 90 days.
- When a customer’s account ends, we delete or de-identify its data within a reasonable period after the 30-day export window, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Customer app users can delete their account from within the app. Customer portal users can ask the transportation company, or us, to delete it. Team members and drivers can request deletion as described on our Delete Your Account page.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and sign-in codes, encrypted storage of integration secrets, and access controls that keep each company’s data separate. The admin portal, customer portal and apps keep your signed-in session in your browser or device storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Email support@limoscale.com to make a request. If your request concerns rider or driver information, we will pass it to the transportation company that controls it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will post the new version here and notify account owners.
